The Core Organic II partners have selected projects from their second call that will be funded. One project was selected from each of the thematic research areas: COBRA - Coordinating Organic plant breeding activities for diversity coordinated by Thomas Döring, The Organic Research Centre, United Kingdom and Healthy growth: From niche to volume with integrity and trust coordinated by Egon Noe, Agroecology, Aarhus University, Denmark.
A summary and a list of countries in the consortium can be found at the Core Organic II website for COBRA and HealthyGrowth. A Core Organic real common pot pilot call is closed for applications. The evaluation procedure is ongoing and the project to be funded will be selected 21 February 2013. The eleven research projects funded from the first call have started between September 2011 and January 2012.
Presentations from the project coordinators are available in Organic Eprints or as a short overview in the CORE Organic II project leaflet. The projects initiated by CORE Organic II - and their results - wil be presented at a meeting in the Nederlands on 15 May 2013.
