UK: Organic Expeller Company opens organic factory
by Redaktion (comments: 0)
The Organic Expeller Company officially opened its organic expeller factory, dedicated to crushing organic soyabeans. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dunn Commodities Ltd, the trading and broking house based at Elsham Hall in North Lincolnshire, UK. The factory is located at North Killingholme, sited for close proximity to the container terminal in Immingham, for both import of organic soyabeans and export of finished product to the near Continent.
The process is centred on Insta-Pro technology, with extrusion and screw press expelling soyabean oil from soyabean meal. The soya meal is sold into the European organic animal feed market, and the crude organic soyabean oil is refined for edible use, with the operation certified by the Soil Association.
From 11-14 November 2008, the Hanover Exhibition Grounds in Germany will again host EuroTier, the biannual international exhibition for animal husbandry and management. Dunn Commodities will be attending the exhibition as guests of Agrosom GmbH, and shall have samples of production available for those interested.
