UK: Natural & Organic Awards 2011 winners announced

The winners of the  Natural & Organic Awards were announced at the Natural & Organic Products Europe trade show, Diversified Business Communications reports. Around 450 natural and organic professionals attended the Natural & Organic Awards, which were hosted jointly by Natural Products magazine and the Soil Association. The winners are as follows:
Best new packaging design: The London Seed Company
Best independent retailer: Haselmere Health Foods, Surrey
NAHS retailer of the year: Greenlife, Devon
Best organic retailer: Whitmuir Organics, Scotland
Best organic facial skincare product: Herbfarmacy, Just Eyes Eye Cream
Best organic baby product: Essential Care, Gentle Wash & Shampoo
Best organic bodycare product: Yes Pure Intimacy, Oil and Water-Based Intimate Lubricant
Best organic textile product: Organic for Kids, Selection of Baby garments
The natural products outstanding achievement award: Peter Kindersley (founder of Sheepdrove Organic and owner of Neal's Yard Remedies) 

The Best New Food Product, Best New Non-Food Product, Best New VMS Product, Best New Natural Beauty Product, Best New Sports Nutrition Product, and Best New Organic Food Product Awards were voted for by visitors to the show’s New Product Showcase:
Best new food product: Peppersmiths, Fine English Peppermint Fresh Mints
Best new non-food product: Mohdoh, Mohdoh Headeez
Best new VMS product:  Natures Aid, FemEze
Best new natural beauty product: Natural Empathy, Beautifully British
Best new sports nutrition product: Pulsin Ltd, Maple & Peanut Protein Sport
