10 years of IFOAM EU will be celebrated in Brussels, Belgium, from 6 to 8 November 2013. IFOAM EU invites to help build the organic vision for Europe in 2030, network with representatives from key organic food & farming stakeholders, EU institutions, NGOs and trade organisations – and to find out about the prospects that the CAP reform, new Organic Regulation and European Innovation Partnership programmes bring to the sector. And last but not least, to celebrate the successes of the last 10 years of IFOAM EU’s organic presence in Brussels.
On 6 November, an excursion will take place called Organic Policy Making in Action. It will be followed by the reception Organic Farming and EU Policies. On 7 November, the conference and networking dinner will centre around the subject "What opportunities for organic farming and food systems? 10 years of advocacy for sustainable food and farming". The opening speech of the conference will be held by Mr. Wolfgang Reimer, Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Consumer Protection of Baden-Württemberg (Germany).
