EXKI Nature’s Kitchen: First restaurant in Germany

The Belgian fast food chain EXKI, which is committed to healthy food and sustainability according to its own statements, opens its first restaurant in Cologne. Further restaurants are planned.
The first EXKI opened 2001 in Belgium. More than 70 restaurants in Belgium, France, Italy and the Netherlands have opened until now. The chain has also been represented in the USA since 2014. The concept of system gastronomy is based on seasonal, regional and healthy nutrition. Organic products can be found on the restaurants’ menu used for salads, sandwiches, fruit salads, soups, etc. as well as in the food department with the EXKI brand. The company has developed a four-pillar "Rethink" action plan on the subject of sustainability: Reduce, reuse, recycle and rethink in order to reduce the ecological footprint.
