10th Natural Cosmetics Conference: Ensuring future success for the industry

September the 26-27 the Natural & Organic Cosmetics Conference will open its doors in Berlin for the anniversary edition. The Conference will be held for the 10th time, once again in cooperation with the NürnbergMesse, organizer of the VIVANESS. The event will provide information about current topics of the natural cosmetics industry, presenting and discussing these from a critical point of view.

The core topic customer journey will be addressed by keynote speaker Michael Carl. In his presentation, the well-known futurologist, consultant and managing director 2b AHEAD Think Tank GmbH will focus on the customers of today and tommorrow and how these can be successfully reached in the future.

Dr. Kay Hafner, founder and chairman of Hafner & CIE. Digital Change And Strategy GmbH, will discuss the necessary revitalization of brands and what the prerequisites for authentic brand management are – with a critical focus on brand policies.

Cosmetics markets in Asia and packaging trends in the focus

The 10th Natural & Organic Cosmetics Conference will also focus on the cosmetics markets in Asia. The presentations and discussions in Panel A will provide interesting information on the dynamic markets which offer lots of potential for many natural and organic cosmetic companies.

Another key topic of the Conference in Berlin: natural and organic cosmetic packaging trends – with a critical view towards environmental aspects and digitalization. Karel J. Golta, Managing Director INDEED INNOVATION GmbH, delves into the topic of digitalization in the packaging industry, not without emphasizing the aspect of sustainability of packaging for natural and organic cosmetics.

Alan Campbell, Technical Director of the LCA Centre in the Netherlands, offers a “Packaging Life Cycle Assessment“ during his presentation and a guide for responsible packaging choices. For the Natural & Organic Cosmetics Conference will certainly pick up on controversial and inconvenient topics, such as plastic debris polluting the oceans. The international marine wildlife conservation organization Sea Shepherd Germany will present its MARINE DEBRIS CAMPAIGN and thereby put the topic of cosmetic packaging polluting the oceans up for discussion These and other current topics will be presented during the two-day Conference in Berlin. "Participating guests may expect a multi- faceted program with contributions from experts, best practice examples, lively discussions and various opportunities for networking" say the organizers.

The 10th edition of the Conference will be held September 26-27, 2017, at the Hotel Ellington in Berlin with Elfriede Dambacher acting as program chairwoman and under new general management by Wolf Lüdge. On the day prior to the Conference, the popular Trendtour Berlin will take participants to newly discovered hotspots of natural cosmetics in Berlin (bus tour, 2-6 p.m.).
